Launcher label preview: will your app name fit?
Launchers cut long names to about one line under the icon. See yours on three home-screen sizes before you build.
Two names, two jobs
The launcher label sits under the icon and should be one or two short words — your brand. The Play title (up to 30 characters) can add what the app does: “Sunrise Bakery: Order Online”. Both are set in the converter and in Play Console; the label needs a rebuild to change.
Widths are approximate; launchers and font sizes vary.
