urltoapp.dev is a reference site about one job: taking a web address — a site, a store, a form, a dashboard, a web app someone built with AI — and turning it into an Android app people can install. We cover the part most converters skip: what breaks inside an app (Google sign-in, file uploads, payments, links that open the wrong way) and how to fix it before your users find it.
How the pages are written
Every page opens with a short answer, then the detail. Technical claims are checked against Android's own documentation for WebView, Trusted Web Activities and App Links, and against Google Play's published policies. Where a different tool is the better choice — a PWA, a Trusted Web Activity, a native rebuild — the page says so.
The apps we recommend
The build itself happens in two free Android apps: Website to App for live links and HTML & ZIP to APK for files. Both compile and sign in the cloud, so you need only your phone.

Everything on Tools runs in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
