App mode snippet generator
One snippet in your site's header lets the same pages behave like a website in Chrome and like an app inside your app — no rebuild, ever.
How detection works
Android WebViews add ; wv) to the user agent. That catches your app — and also other apps' in-app browsers (Instagram, Facebook), which is usually what you want: those visitors also shouldn't see “install our app” banners. For stricter detection, add your converter's own user-agent token or a start-URL flag, which the snippet remembers for the session.
Ideas for what to hide and change: make a URL app feel native.
FAQ
Will Google see different content?
No. Googlebot isn't a WebView and the snippet only hides decoration in the app, so there's no cloaking.
